- Local infections in the treatment area.
- Malignant or benign tumors in or near the treatment area.
- Do not apply directly over cartilage surfaces or near the small facet joints of the spine.
- Do not apply directly over implanted electronic devices, such as pacemakers or implanted pain pumps.
- Do not apply treatment to areas where mechanical vibrations may cause tissue damage, such as areas with metal implants following a fracture.
Precautions Before Treatment
- If a metal implant or other metal object is located near the treatment area, vibration and heat may occur depending on its distance from the applicator.
- Patients with implanted electronic devices, such as pacemakers or other electronic implants, should not use the device. Strong magnetic fields may interfere with or damage implanted electronic devices.
- Keep ID cards, access cards, car keys, and other magnetically sensitive or electronic items away from the magnetic applicator, as they may be damaged.
